In a Norwegian valley two filmmakers are puzzled to find an ad for battered, old cars. Learning that half a million old vehicles get exported from Europe to West-Africa every year, they decide to buy a used Peugeot and head for Africa to see if the export is morally sane. We join them on their journey into the shady world of used-exports, uncovering a widespread illegal export of electronic waste, transported inside the cars. From the European harbours to the markets and landfills in Ghana, the two experience the consequences of dealing in used goods, including their own Peugeot.
